Job summary

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a CT Technologist I in the Burlington area. The role operates a range of CT equipment to perform exams under the supervision of a Radiologist, Supervisor, and Lead Technologists, following established practices and maintaining patient safety through proper radiation use.

Eligible candidates have graduated from an accredited radiologic technology program and hold ARRT or NMTCB certification.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by CAHEA/JERCT.
  • ARRT or NMTCB certification.
  • Less than one year of experience in radiologic or CT technology.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT equipment to perform exams under a Radiologist, Supervisor, and Lead Technologists.
  • Provide support to Radiography students and other hospital personnel as needed.
  • May work a variety of shifts, weekends, holidays, and take call on a rotational basis.

Job Summary:
The CT Technologist I demonstrates knowledge and sense of responsibility in the daily operations of the CT department. They operate a variety of CT equipment to perform CT exams according to established practices under the direction of a Radiologist, Supervisor, and Lead Technologists, utilizing ionizing radiation. The CT technologist I is expected to provide support to Radiography students, new technologists and other hospital personnel as needed. May be required to work a variety of shifts, weekends, holidays, and take call on a rotational basis.

Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by CAHEA/JERCT. Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).

Experience:
Less than one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist.
