Job summary

Cooper Lighting Solutions is seeking a CT Tech for part-time evening shifts in Newnan, Georgia. The role involves performing diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations under supervision, providing care to patients of all ages. Candidates must be graduates of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, certified by the ARRT, and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R). Additional qualifications such as BLS certification and experience as a Radiological Technologist preferred.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).
  • BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations under guidance.
  • Provide patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications
  • MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
  • MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).
  • MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).
  • ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: BLS certified. PREFERRED: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.
