Job summary

The University of Rochester invites applications for a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT exams following orders, with safety and accuracy in mind. You will confirm orders, inject IV contrast when required, and prepare patients for imaging in a supervised, patient-centered environment.

Evening shift, Mon-Fri 1:30pm–10:00pm, with full-time 40 hours weekly. Required are formal training from an approved School of Radiologic Technology, NYS licensure, and ARRT certification with CE credits.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology required.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT exams by following orders and ensuring compliance with department policies.
• Involves injection of IV contrast and preparing patients for imaging.
• Maintains safe patient handling and ALARA principles during procedures.
• Produces accurate documentation and discharges patients with clear post-procedure instructions.
• May assist with training and day-to-day supervision as needed.
