Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - NYS licensure upon hire.
• ARRT certification with CE credits upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT exams following providers' orders under supervision from a senior technologist.
• Performs I-stats, pregnancy tests, starting IVs, and injecting IV contrast.
• Prepares patients and equipment, ensures safe procedures, and documents results.
• Maintains radiation protection, safety policies, and equipment QC checks.
• May train new employees or lead day-to-day work activities.
