Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem is looking for a CT Technologist I to work at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Illinois. The role involves operating CT scanners to assist in diagnosis and treatment, engaging with patients to explain procedures, and ensuring high-quality service. Candidates need at least a high school diploma, an Associate’s degree preferred, and must possess or be eligible for relevant certifications. This position is per diem as needed with a sign-on bonus of $1,000 and additional benefits including various medical options and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate's Degree preferred.
• IEMA licensure required.
• ARRT (R) candidate required, must be registered within six months.
• CPR certification from American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner to obtain images for diagnosis.
• Position patients and administer contrast media injections.
• Deliver attentive customer service throughout procedures.

Skills

Strong computer skills

Ability to troubleshoot software issues

Post processing for CTA-Perfusion/Siemen

Prior CT experience

Willingness to cross-train to CT

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Associate's Degree (preferred)
