Job summary

This 36 hours per week position emphasizes patient safety, diagnostic imaging quality, and efficient exam flow within the radiology department. Qualified candidates will hold graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist Program and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accountability for patient safety throughout the imaging process.
• Produces diagnostic-quality images using approved protocols and professional standards.
• Applies professional judgment within approved protocols to optimize image quality and address imaging challenges.
• Reviews images prior to exam completion and initiates corrective action when diagnostic adequacy is not met.
• Operates imaging equipment and maintains imaging room readiness.
• Coordinates exam flow and prioritizes time-sensitive studies.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation in medical records and PACS.
