Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• Current CT Certification and ARRT Certification.
• Current state license or permit, if required for the practice location.
• One year of CT experience, or completion of CT training with 500 clinical hours.
• Meets continuing education and credential-maintenance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review orders, verify patient identity and provide education.
• Position patients, select protocols, operate CT to acquire and reconstruct images with minimal exposure.
• Screen for contrast risks; establish venous access and administer contrast as authorized.
• Evaluate image quality and prepare studies for radiologist interpretation.
• Document examinations and patient history in imaging systems.
• Perform quality-control checks and maintain ready rooms and supplies.
• Follow radiation-safety, privacy, and professional ethics requirements.
• Collaborate with care team to support patient flow and participate in training.
