Job Summary: $20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants! This posting reflects an opening for a CT Technologist I. We are seeking candidates for that position and may consider applicants for higher levels, such as CT Technologist II, based on skills, qualifications, and experience. We encourage all qualified individuals to apply.

Under general supervision of the Radiologist, performs CT procedures to acquire digital images for diagnosis and treatment. Plans and performs CT procedures and post-processing using advanced technology based on clinical criteria, anatomy, and established protocols. Ensures protocols are based on guidelines and monitors dose data, notifying users when scans exceed preset levels.

Job Duties

1. Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems to acquire images for diagnosis.
2. Maintain knowledge to operate different CT systems at multiple locations.
3. Follow protocols based on Image Gently Guidelines and monitor dose data.
4. Understand clinical histories to match protocols; knowledge of major organ and vascular systems.
5. Obtain CT images according to protocols, ensuring proper patient preparation, positioning, immobilization, and shielding.
6. Perform CT interventional procedures.
7. Perform CTA imaging, including advanced studies such as TAVR, EVAR, and cardiac imaging.
8. Maintain knowledge of pharmacology to ensure lab results are obtained prior to exams.
9. Understand physiology and physics to produce quality scans and reduce patient dose.
10. Interpret technical factors to improve scan quality and speed.

Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. The role requires compliance with organizational policies and additional department-specific competencies.
