Job Summary: $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants! This posting reflects an opening for a CT Technologist I. We are seeking candidates for that position. Geisinger reserves the right to consider applicants for higher levels of this role, including CT Technologist II, based on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Responsibilities include performing a variety of standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, equipment operation, and maintaining related records.

Job Duties

1. Performs standardized radiological, radiographic, and fluoroscopic examinations utilizing proper patient positioning, identification, and exposure techniques.
2. Operates all equipment within the modality proficiently.
3. Sets up and adjusts immobilization and radiation protective equipment and devices.
4. Reviews and analyzes patient body size, thickness, age, physical condition, and suspected pathology in performing examinations.
5. Assists physicians with various procedures.
6. Reports equipment malfunctions and the need for adjustments or repairs.
7. Maintains related records and notations.
8. Participates in Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures as required.
9. Participates in the educational training of students.
