Job Summary $20,000 sign on bonus for eligible applicants!! This posting reflects an opening for a CT Technologist I, and we are seeking candidates for that position. Geisinger reserves the right to consider applicants for higher levels of this role, including CT Technologist II, based on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Job Duties

1. Provide technical expertise to operate CT Scanners, power injectors, and computer systems to acquire images for use by radiologists.
2. Maintain knowledge to operate different CT Systems at multiple locations.
3. Follow protocols based on Image Gently Guidelines, ensuring dose data is compiled and alerts are generated for scans exceeding preset levels.
4. Have comprehensive knowledge of clinical histories and major organ and vascular systems relevant to thoracic, abdominal, pelvic, neuro, and musculoskeletal imaging.
5. Obtain CT images according to established protocols, ensuring patient preparation, proper positioning, immobilization, and use of protective shielding when applicable.
6. Perform CT interventional procedures and CTA imaging, including advanced studies such as TAVR, EVAR, and cardiac imaging.
7. Maintain knowledge of pharmacology to ensure lab results are obtained prior to exams.
8. Understand physiology and physics to produce quality scans and minimize patient dose.
9. Interpret technical factors to optimize scan quality and speed.

Education: Graduate from Specialty Training Program (Required)

Experience & Certification: Certified Radiology Technologist within 12 months (ARRT); Basic Life Support Certification
