Universal Health Services seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT exams, conduct quality control per manufacturer requirements, and verify orders with radiologists. The role screens patients for contrast contraindications and collaborates with hospital staff to address patient care concerns.

Weekend, holiday, evening, night, overtime, and on-call work may be required. The position requires MRT licensure in Texas, ARRT CT certification (preferred), and adherence to compliance policies.

Qualifications

• BCLS certification required.
• 2 years CT and/or Radiographer experience preferred.
• Membership in related professional organization preferred.
• Must comply with Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.

Responsabilités

• Performs all Computed Tomography exams.
• Performs quality control procedures as required by the manufacturer.
• Evaluates orders, verifies with radiologist if needed, and ensures correct exam is performed.
• Screens patients for contraindications for oral or IV contrast.
• Interacts with hospital staff and/or nursing departments regarding patient care, concerns, and conflicts, identifying and assisting in resolutions.
• Maintains performance skills and works weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, overtime, and/or on-call as needed.

Graduate from an approved school in Radiologic Technology
