Job summary

McLeod Health’s radiology team seeks a CT Technologist for weekend-night shifts in the CT Scan Department. You will operate CT equipment, correctly position patients, and ensure high-quality images for radiologists. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and compassionate patient care.

Requirements include an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT radiography certification, and BLS. CT-specific experience is preferred, with state licensure as applicable.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology (or equivalent) is required.
• ARRT certification is required; CT certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) is required.
• State licensure as applicable.

• Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images per physician orders.

• Perform routine equipment checks and coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients and families.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Work Schedule

72 Hours Biweekly. Night 7p – 7am; Weekend Only Work, Friday – Sunday

Qualifications/Education/Training

• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences preferred.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in radiologic technology.
• CT-specific experience preferred.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• ARRT (CT) certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Current BLS certification required. (American Heart Association)
• State licensure (if applicable).
• Proficiency in CT imaging techniques and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
