This job is responsible for assessing patients and safely performing routine CT procedures following prescribed radiation safety protocols. The role also involves serving as a clinical mentor for junior staff and students.

Required - Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program
Preferred - CT experience
Required - Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or computed tomography ARRT (CT) certified OR ARRT registry eligible, registered within 90 days of employment, with a temporary state license required. CT registry eligible within one year. Advanced certification in CT required within one year of becoming CT registry eligible. Current unrestricted license in the state of practice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Preferred – Advanced certification in CT accepted by ARRT.

Medium Work - Exerting 20-50 pounds occasionally, 10-25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly. Includes walking, standing, pushing, pulling, stooping, bending, reaching, and manual dexterity. Must be able to travel between facilities. Exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues, and possibly hazardous materials or communicable diseases is possible.
