Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved radiology course.
• Current CACRT licensure with Fluoroscopic permit.
• Venipuncture permit or training required before Jan 1, 2013; 10 venipunctures after Jan 1, 2013.
• Two+ years in general radiology; CT experience preferred.

Job Description

At NorthBay Health the C/T Technologist performs general radiographic studies, according to established Q.A. criteria. Scans and organizes images, completes required paper work and charges. Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations. Assists and instructs patients during examinations. Performs bedside radiography. Assists with clerical duties. Cleans and inspects equipment prior to use. Reports equipment malfunctions.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an AMA approved radiology course or training and experience prior to 2000.
• Licensure: Current CACRT with Fluoroscopic permit. Possession of a venipuncture permit or documented venipuncture training prior to January 1, 2013, or possession of a venipuncture permit with 10 venipunctures after January 1, 203, and venipunctures completed within 1 month of hire. AHA or equivalent BLS Certification required.
• Experience: Two or more years of experience in general radiology, at least one year of C/T.
• Skills: Some clerical and computer experience. Practices principles of ALARA.
• Hours of Work: Depend on shift assignment

Compensation

Hourly salary range MIN$61.57 - MAX$74.90 (offered rate based on years of experience)
