Job summary

IHA Fresno is seeking a highly skilled CT Technologist to perform CT procedures, provide compassionate patient care, and assist radiologists during examinations. You will independently protocol CT studies, optimize image quality, and ensure patient safety throughout the examination.

The role requires California CRT, ARRT credentials including CT, venipuncture competency, and CPR. Night shifts demand strong teamwork, quick decision-making, and excellent customer service in a fast-paced acute care

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Valid California CRT certification required.
• AHA CPR card required.
• ARRT Radiography (R) and CT certifications required.
• Venipuncture certification and competency within 30 days.
• Recent CT experience; acute care experience preferred.
• Ability to protocol CT exams independently with radiologist support.
• Professional, customer-service oriented; participate in committees.

Reporting to the Manager, Imaging Services, Radiology Administration, this position is responsible for performing CT procedures, providing patient care and physician assistance during the performance of those procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited program of Radiologic Technology is required.
• Valid California Radiology Tech (CRT) certification from the State of California is required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R) is required; advanced ARRT certification in (CT) also is required.
• Proof of venipuncture certification is required. Venipuncture competency must also be demonstrated and documented by the supervisor or his/her proxy within thirty (30) days of hire or transfer into position.
• Recent experience in CT is required, experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• Ability to operate all CT equipment and perform all CT examinations independently (e.g., be able to protocol them or work in conjunction with the radiologist) is required.
• Must be seen as a resource throughout SAMC and be willing to actively participate on Hospital/Department committees as assigned.
• Ability to relate in a professional manner to patients, physicians, the public and other health care providers and demonstrate excellent customer service orientation is required.

Pay Range

$41.19 - $65.41

May be adjusted based on Career Ladder placement
