Produces CT scans as ordered by a physician following the established policies of the Department. Able to provide appropriate care for patients served, regardless of age. Must provide coverage on weekends, holidays, and off-shifts as deemed necessary to maintain departmental services. This job description and requirements have been approved by the medical chairman of the diagnostic imaging department and the executive committee of the medical staff.

Education: Associates Degree in Radiology preferred. ARRT, CT advanced registry required unless trainee, with 6 months from start date to obtain.
Experience: Minimum one year in CT unless trainee.
Licensure: ARRT and CT State License required. CT Advanced Certification required unless trainee, with 6 months to obtain.
Special Skills: Ability to produce high-quality CT scans using complex protocols.
Physical Demands: Exposure to infectious diseases or hazardous materials. Standing and walking most of the day, with occasional lifting, pushing, and pulling. Manual dexterity required, with the ability to assist in lifting patients with physical problems.
