Produces CT Scans as ordered by a physician following the established policies of the Department. Able to provide appropriate care for patients served, regardless of age. Must provide coverage on weekends, holidays, and off-shifts as deemed necessary to maintain departmental services. This job description and requirements have been approved by the medical chairman of the diagnostic imaging department and the executive committee of the medical staff.

Education: Associates Degree in Radiology preferred. ARRT, CT advanced registry required unless trainee, with 6 months to obtain.
Experience: Minimum one year in CT, unless trainee.
Licensure: ARRT and CT State License required. CT Advanced Certification required unless trainee, with 6 months to obtain.
Skills: Ability to produce high-quality CT scans using complex protocols.
Physical Demands: May be exposed to infectious diseases or hazardous materials. Standing and walking most of the day, working with lightweight equipment, occasional lifting, pushing, and pulling. Must have manual dexterity, hearing, observation skills, and the ability to assist with lifting patients with physical problems.
