Job summary

MedStar Radiology Network in Brandywine, MD is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a full-time position at our outpatient imaging center. The role involves performing CT procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with the imaging team to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.

The position offers four 10-hour weekday shifts, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, competitive pay with shift differential, comprehensive benefits, PTO, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years experience as a CT Technologist.
• Must have an Associate Degree in Radiology or graduate from an accredited two-year radiology program.
• ARRT registration in Radiography with CT advanced registration required upon hire for IDTF centers.

Responsibilities

• May serve as a lead technologist for a designated shift.
• Mentors/provides guidance to other CT technologists.
• Performs CT procedures and related techniques, producing images for interpretation.
• Ensures services are performed in a safe environment per guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Receives, relays, and documents orders in the patient’s medical record.
• Assists with interventional CT procedures and aseptic technique as needed.
• Applies ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
• Provides education to patients and staff as needed.
