MEP Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT exams across facilities within the Diagnostic Float Team. The role involves supporting multiple imaging services across facilities as part of the Diagnostic Float Team. As a CT Technologist, you will perform high-quality CT exams, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to protocols and safety standards. Key responsibilities include verifying patient identity, explaining procedures, preparing and positioning patients, establishing IV access, administering contrast media, operating CT equipment, and optimizing image quality while minimizing radiation exposure. You will evaluate images, detect urgent findings, document accurately, and support daily operations, including equipment maintenance and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, with at least 2 years of hospital-based radiologic and CT experience. Certifications required are ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS from the American Heart Association.
