Job summary

Carilion Clinic in Christiansburg, Virginia, seeks a CT Technologist (flex/PRN) to perform computed tomography procedures, operate imaging equipment, and collaborate with radiologists and the care team to deliver accurate diagnostics.

Responsibilities include injecting IV contrast, positioning patients, and ensuring safety and image quality per policy. Travel to other Carilion facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program
• No prior experience required
• CT registration within one year of hire; ARRT registry

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment to obtain quality images
• Works with physicians, other healthcare providers and patients
• Performs IV contrast injections and related tasks
• Positions patients and evaluates requirements for care
• Interacts with patients and care team to coordinate plans
• Assists with scheduling, registration, and file management
• May travel to other Carilion facilities as needed
