Job summary

Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA, is hiring a CT Technologist for a flexi/PRN rotating schedule. You will perform CT imaging under physician direction, follow protocol standards and radiation safety guidelines, and administer CT contrast as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a Radiologic Technology diploma and ARRT or CNMT certification, with BLS required. ARRT (CT) advanced registry must be obtained within 2 years of hire.

Qualifications

• Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology (Required).
• ARRT or CNMT (Required).
• Must obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality CT imaging to patients under supervision, following protocol standards.
• Operate CT equipment safely and maintain documentation.
• Maintain equipment and supply inventory; follow radiation safety guidelines; administer CT contrast per protocol.
