Job summary

Carilion Clinic in Christiansburg seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform multi-modality imaging with emphasis on CT; day/evening shifts available and a sign-on bonus up to $30,000 plus relocation assistance up to $7,000.

You will operate radiology equipment, perform IV injections, schedule patients, and maintain records while ensuring safety and quality across procedures. Opportunities to train staff and work at other Carilion facilities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registry or registry-eligible; BLS-HCP required.
• MRI/Mammography registries may be required within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiology equipment to produce quality diagnostic images.
• Perform IV contrast injections as required.
• Schedule and register patients; maintain patient files.
• Position and observe patients with safety and professional care.
• Train students and staff as assigned.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate care.
• May provide care at other Carilion facilities.
