Job summary

White Rock Medical Center is seeking a CT X-ray Technologist to perform CT and radiographic imaging under the direction of the Director of Medical Imaging. You will operate CT scanners, ensure diagnostic quality images, position patients, and collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and staff to deliver efficient care.

The role requires knowledge of RIS/PACS, strong attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety, privacy, and comfort in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography required; CT certification within 12 months.
• Current Texas MRT licensure required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Verify requisition, orders, patient history, consents, and verify the correct exam is ordered.
• Operate CT scanners and radiographic imaging equipment; assess and adjust imaging parameters.
• Produce diagnostic quality images and minimize repeats.
• Send images to PACS and review for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain patient safety, privacy, and proper patient positioning and comfort.
