Job summary

White Rock Medical Center LLC is seeking a CT X-ray Technologist to perform CT and radiographic imaging under the Medical Imaging Director. The role requires ensuring diagnostic quality, proper patient positioning, and coordination with radiologists.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT radiography and CT certifications, a Texas MRT license, and BLS. Hospital experience and adaptability to shifts are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography required; CT certification within 12 months or already held.
• Texas Medical Board MRT licensure and BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1–2 years CT technologist experience preferred; new grads considered with CT training.

Responsibilities

• Verifies requisitions and ensures the correct exam is ordered.
• Sends images to PACS and reviews results for radiologist interpretation.
• Operates CT scanners and radiographic imaging equipment with attention to detail.
• Maintains patient safety, privacy, and comfort during procedures.
• Adapts technique to varied imaging situations and positions patients correctly.
• Explains CT/X-ray procedures to gain patient cooperation and trust.
