Job summary

White Rock Medical Center is seeking a CT X-ray Technologist to perform CT and radiographic imaging with emphasis on patient safety and image quality. Under the direction of the Director of Medical Imaging, you will work with CT scanners, X-ray equipment and PACS, ensuring proper exam verification, patient positioning and documentation.

The ideal candidate has ARRT certification in Radiography and CT, Texas MRT licensure, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography.
• ARRT CT certification required (or within 12 months).
• Texas MRT licensure as Medical Radiologic Technologist.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify requisitions and correct exam orders.
• Select and position patients; ensure accurate imaging.
• Operate CT scanners and radiographic equipment.
• Review and send images to PACS; manage RIS workflows.
• Maintain patient safety and privacy during procedures.
• Explain CT/X-ray procedures to patients to reduce anxiety.
