Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform a wide range of CT imaging procedures and support fellow staff. The role requires flexibility to work different shifts and at other campuses as needed, with competency in image processing and PACS management.

You will participate in QA, ongoing education, and maintain imaging competencies while complying with state and federal regulations. Strong collaboration with radiologists and referring physicians is essential for efficient patient

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required.
• 1 year of CT experience in a Hospital or Clinical setting preferred; basic computer experience required.
• Licensure: ARRT Radiography; CT by ARRT within 1 year; state licensure required (NM, TX, LA optional per state).
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced CT imaging procedures.
• Support other imaging technologists and assist radiologists and referring physicians.
• Troubleshoot basic maintenance and participate in QA and image archiving systems.
• Adhere to imaging competencies and organizational policies; ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
• Ensure exams are stored in PACS and follow PACS downtime procedures when needed.
• Adapt patient care to individual developmental needs and facilitate patient throughput.
