Job summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center-Apple Valley seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures under direction of department leadership. You will collaborate with radiologists, support patients, and participate in quality and performance improvements.

Required: graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, California licensure, BLS, ARRT radiography, and ARRT CT within 1 year. Preferred: 2 years CT experience in hospital or imaging center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• California Radiologic Technologist license required upon hire.
• BLS certification by American Heart Association required upon hire.
• ARRT Radiography certification required upon hire.
• Within 1 year of hire: ARRT CT certification.
• Preferred: 2 years CT experience in hospital or imaging center.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures per department standards using age-specific criteria.
• Serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, the public, and medical staff.
• Participate in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other technologists; participate in call schedule and shifts as needed.
