Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program.
• California Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist – Radiography (ARRT) upon hire.
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography (ARRT).

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures according to department standards utilizing age-specific criteria.
• Serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, the public, and medical staff.
• Participate in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities.
• Serve as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and radiologists.
• Participate in call scheduling and remain flexible with shifts to meet staffing needs.
