Job summary
Providence is seeking a CT Technologist to perform a range of diagnostic CT procedures at St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley. You will ensure patient safety, age-appropriate care, and accurate image acquisition in a fast-paced radiology department.
The role emphasizes collaboration with radiologists, quality control participation, and being a clinical resource to staff, with on-call flexibility to meet staffing needs.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program.
- California Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
- Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT procedures following department standards and age-specific criteria.
- Serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, and staff.
- Participate in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities.
- Act as a clinical and technical resource to technologists and radiologists; participate in on-call schedules.
