Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a CT Technologist at St. Mary Medical Center-Apple Valley in California.

You will perform diagnostic CT procedures, follow age-specific criteria, and support radiology staff as a clinical and technical resource. The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, CA Radiologic Technologist licensure, and ARRT certifications with a pathway to CT certification within one year.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program.
Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist.
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - ARRT.
Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to department standards using age-specific criteria.
Serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, public, and medical staff.
Participate in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities.
Act as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and radiologists.
Participate in call schedule and remain flexible with job assignments and shifts.
