Job summary

South Shore Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our Radiology team. You will perform diagnostic CT procedures, prepare patients, administer contrast when indicated, and work closely with radiologists to ensure high-quality images.

Qualifications

• Formal training in Radiology Technology from an AMA-approved program.
• Minimum 3–4 years radiologic experience with emphasis on CT procedures preferred.
• At least 1 year exposure or CT training to be proficient.

Responsibilities

• Maintains equipment for diagnostic imaging and ensures proper function.
• Sets up and calibrates CT equipment for exams and adjusts parameters.
• Explains procedures to patients and assists in prep and positioning.
• Administers contrast agents using sterile technique; monitors patient.
• Reviews patient charts with Radiologist to confirm exam details.
• Performs quality controls and adheres to safety guidelines.
