Job summary

Merit Health River Oaks in Flowood, MS is seeking a CT Technologist I to operate CT equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. You will prepare and position patients, assist radiologists, and follow established protocols in a fast-paced care environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of clinical experience from an accredited radiologic sciences program.
• 2–4 years CT Technologist experience in an acute care hospital preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images per protocol.
• Prepares and positions patients, ensuring safety and comfort during procedures.
• Verifies patient identity and orders, screens for contraindications and follows contrast protocols.
• Documents history and correlates with imaging findings to support interpretation.
• Maintains CT equipment and performs basic QC checks; responds to emergencies.
