Job summary

Wellstar seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality studies. You will verify orders, manage patient data, and assist with CT imaging as needed in a busy radiology department.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, following infection control policies, and using AIDET when communicating with patients and families. This role requires ARRT certification and 1 year radiology experience with CT preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification required upon hire.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology; CT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with imaging procedures and ensure patient safety.
• Verify clinician orders and proper patient identification.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to infection control policies.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and obtain informed consent when applicable.
• Submit studies to PACS and ensure timely reporting by radiologists.
• Restock supplies and support department operations.
