MillenniumSoft Inc. in Warwick, RI is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT imaging systems, capture diagnostic images, and ensure patient comfort and safety.

The role requires 2 years of relevant experience, adherence to image quality standards, and the ability to position patients and administer contrast when directed. Schedule is 40 hours/week, Mon–Fri, with every 4th weekend. This is a 13-week assignment with no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience
• Image quality evaluation
• Patient communication and support

Responsabilités

• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
• Position patients appropriately to scan specific body areas
• Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong X-ray tube life
• Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety
• Correctly interpret doctors' written scanning instructions
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues
• Evaluate CT scans to determine technical quality
• Explain scanning procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as needed
