Job summary

Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in Christiansburg, VA seeks a CT Technologist for Flex/PRN roles. Occasional travel to other Carilion facilities may be required.

Qualifications include CT registration within one year of hire; ARRT registry, AHA-BLS-HCP, and strong interpersonal/technical skills with flexible assignments.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Administers IV contrast injections and related procedures.
• POSITION patients and coordinate with physicians to determine needs.
• Trains students and staff as assigned. May travel to other Carilion facilities.
