Job summary

Lutheran Health Network is seeking a CT Technologist I to operate CT equipment, position patients, and deliver high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring safety and comfort. You will collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to provide timely results in a patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, monitoring contrast procedures, performing quality control, and supporting interventional CT work as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical radiologic experience required.
• 2-4 years CT Technologist experience preferred in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment and processing systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring compliance with departmental protocols and standards.
• Prepares and positions patients appropriately for CT procedures, using suitable positioning and immobilization techniques based on patient needs and comfort.
• Ensures accurate patient identification, verifies physician orders, and screens patients for contraindications to the examination.
• Monitors patients for adverse reactions during contrast administration and responds appropriately.
• Explains procedures clearly to patients, addressing questions to alleviate fear and anxiety.
