Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scans for all patient ages under the supervision of a Radiologist. The role requires graduate radiologic training, ARRT/NMTCB certification and MA licensure, with a focus on safety and quality care.

Responsibilities include acquiring high-quality images, assisting with interventional exams, maintaining patient records, and collaborating with the radiology team to ensure timely, accurate diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiological program.
• Registered by the ARRT or NMTCB in diagnostic CT.
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans appropriate for the patient age in inpatient/outpatient settings according to standards and protocols.
• Assist Radiologist with diagnostic and interventional procedures and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain and update patient records and billings accurately; send exams to PACS promptly.
• Position and transfer patients safely and assist with interventional exams.
