Job summary

UMC Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to participate in CT department operations, perform exams under the Radiologist, and support quality control and patient care.

You will perform CT procedures per protocol, manage PACS images, adjust protocols for age-specific exams, and assist in training staff. ARRT registration and TDH license are required, with CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiography.
• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or higher.
• Twenty four months of experience in a hospital radiology department.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per protocol and maintain quality control.
• Send images to PACS and manage image quality.
• Explain and witness consent forms; educate patients prior to procedures.
• Cover standby in MRI/CT and be available for varied shifts.
• Train new staff and assist the Lead Technologist.
