Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. The role involves patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations and adherence to all required standards.

Requirements include AMA/JRCERT training, ARRT certification upon hire, and BCLS certification. A sign-on bonus is available for this position.

Qualifications

• Education: AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training (Required).
• Work Experience: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist (Required).
• Licenses: ARRRT - ARRT Registered Upon Hire; BCLS Upon Hire (Required).

Responsibilities

• CT examinations performed under the direct guidance of the Radiologist and in accordance with prescribed standards; provide patient care across all ages.

Responsibilities:

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Required

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
