Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures at a technical level with minimal supervision. The position is in the Cat Scan department with an evening shift and hourly status, offering a competitive pay range and opportunities for skill development.

Required qualifications include graduation from an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology, ARRT CT certification (preferred), NJ license, ARRT registration, and completion of orientation

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• NJ License required.
• Successful completion of Orientation Programs.
• ARRT CT certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.
• Exhibits professional judgment in the performance of procedures and patient care.
• Conducts other related duties assigned and maintains knowledge of other areas in the department.
• Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient’s age-specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care.
