Job summary

Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures in the Cat Scan department during the evening shift. The position offers hourly pay and requires graduation from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program with ARRT registration and NJ licensure.

Advanced certification such as ARRT CT is preferred. The job includes standard CT tech duties, orientation completion, and ongoing patient-care responsibilities in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
• NJ License required.
• Successful completion of Orientation Programs.
• Preferred: ARRT CT certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.
• Exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures and patient care.
• Conducts other related duties assigned and maintains knowledge of other areas in the department.
• Uses an understanding of growth and development to assess each patient’s age-specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care.
