Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT exams with independent judgment in both inpatient and emergency settings, while preparing patients and administering contrast media. The role includes starting IV catheters and mentoring radiologic technology students and interns.

Qualifications

• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program or ARRT-equivalent.
• Registration with ARRT.
• BLS from an AHA- or ARC-sponsored program.
• ARRT advanced CT certification OR active Regions Hospital Radiologic Technologist Specialist with required training and certification timeline.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT exams with independent judgment and initiative.
• Prepares patients for CT examinations and administers contrast media.
• Starts intravenous catheters as part of CT procedures.
• Acts as a resource for Radiologic Technology students and interns.
