Job summary

Northwestern Medicine in Grayslake, IL is hiring a full-time CT Technologist to join the outpatient imaging team. The role requires 40 hours weekly, with shifts from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, plus weekend and on-call rotations.

You will perform diagnostic CT exams, administer contrast, ensure ALARA principles, maintain accurate documentation, and support radiology quality and safety standards. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
• Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) Accreditation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ARRT CT certification within 12 months of hire or 10+ years experience in lieu of certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient safety during the imaging process and monitor post-procedure care.
• Produce diagnostic-quality images using approved protocols and professional standards.
• Administer contrast according to policy and monitor for contraindications.
• Operate imaging equipment and maintain room readiness.
• Ensure accurate documentation in the medical record and image archive system.
