Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a CT Technologist for a full-time evening shift at Grayslake Outpatient Center. The role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a salary range of $38.06–$51.38 per hour. Hours are 2:30 pm–11:00 pm with weekend, on-call, and holiday rotations.

Responsibilities include imaging with ALARA principles, patient positioning, contrast administration, and ensuring complete study transfer to PACS. BLS and radiology program graduate status required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ARRT CT certification within 12 months of hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient safety throughout imaging, prep, monitoring, and post-care.
• Produce diagnostic-quality CT images using approved protocols.
• Administer contrast per policy and monitor for contraindications.
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure room readiness.
• Ensure accurate documentation and PACS transfer of studies.
