Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification as CT or NMTCB CNMT.
• State licensure required for AZ, WY, NV; CT license prior to hire.
• ARRT(CT) or NMTCB(CT) certification within 18 months of hire.
• Certification for BLS is required.
• This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures by following and verifying referring providers’ orders. Uses independent judgment and applies learned methodologies according to established policy and procedures.
• Educates patients/families regarding procedure and/or treatment to be performed.
• Produces high quality images and prepares/presents them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation.
• Maintains accurate documentation of procedures and results.
• Ensures safe operation of equipment and environment following safety policies.
• Maintains confidentiality of all work information and adheres to ethical/legal responsibilities.
