Job summary

The role requires ARRT/NMTCB certification, state licensure, and CT certification within 18 months, plus BLS and two years of radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification (R) or NMTCB CNMT; state licensure for AZ, WY, NV; radiography or nuclear medicine and CT license prior to hire.
• Advanced CT certification within 18 months of hire (ARRT CT or NMTCB CT).
• Certification for BLS is required.
• Two years of clinical radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs prescribed imaging procedures following department policies and physician orders.
• Educates patients/families about procedures and care during imaging.
• Produces high-quality images and presents them with patient information for interpretation.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness of equipment and work environment.
• Ensures proper documentation and license/credential compliance.
• Maintains workflow efficiency and supplies inventory for uninterrupted service.
• Troubleshoots equipment and coordinates with engineering as needed.
• Adheres to ethical, legal, and confidentiality requirements in radiology.
