Job summary

Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Kentucky is seeking a Radiology imaging professional to provide imaging services under the supervision of a registered CT Technologist. The role focuses on patient positioning, image acquisition, and accurate data collection in a busy clinical setting.

You will adhere to ALARA and radiation safety standards, assist physicians in imaging procedures, and prepare equipment and supplies before, during, and after exams.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Science required upon hire.
• Diploma, Associate's degree or higher in related field required upon hire.
• A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and select exposure factors accurately.
• Utilize radiation protection and safety standards.
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Assist the physician in imaging procedures.
• May prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope and regulations.
• Set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures.
