Qualifications

• Completion of approved American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent radiologic technologist program.
• Medical Radiographer: AZ license.
• CT Radiology Tech: AZ license.
• Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT).
• Registered Technologist Computed Tomography (CT).
• American Heart Association certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Performs CT scans per current protocols and radiologist recommendations; covers Trauma/ER, Perfusions, Routine Body, Routine Neuro, Cardiac and Interventional procedures.
• Maintains ALARA principles and radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Verify accurate patient identification on scanner and PACS system.
• Performs workups and reconstructions on 3-D workstation.
• Completes exams and forms per protocol; documents in RadNet.
