Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform x-ray exams and maintain imaging records. The role requires proper licensing in NY or CT, ARRT registration, and at least one year of radiologic experience.

You will prepare patients, position them, operate x-ray equipment, and ensure accurate labeling and filing of images. The ideal candidate will communicate clearly, monitor patients during procedures, and adhere to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• New York State and/or Connecticut Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist; required.
• ARRT registration; required.
• Minimum of one year experience performing radiologic exams; required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams and explain procedures in lay terms.
• Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain radiographs per SOPs.
• Monitor patient condition and report any issues to Radiologist.
• Label and track images, ensure correct laterality and date on films; log exams as needed.
