Job summary

UnityPoint Health-Meriter in Wisconsin is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures and to support patient care under Radiologist supervision.

The role requires an associate degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT registration, CT certification, state licensure, CPR, and strong interpersonal skills. Weekend and holiday coverage is required; ongoing training in dose reduction and safety protocols is provided.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of Accredited Hospital Program.
• ARRT registered technologist.
• CT certified or Certified within 18 month orientation period.
• Current License as a Radiographer in the state of Wisconsin.
• Current CPR certification or eligible to complete within three months of hire.
• Knowledge of day-to-day operations of a medical imaging department within a hospital setting.
• Patient care and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of human resources policies and procedures.
• Competence in the care and service to our patients and customers of all ages.
• Knowledge of standard precautions and associated techniques.
• Patient and clinician safety measures used during provision of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures.
• Assist in direct patient care under the Radiologist.
• Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Follow established procedures and dose reduction standards.
• Weekend, variable shifts, holidays and call as required.
